Music Recording and Mixing

Get your music a technician who understands you

I’m an audio engineer at heart, I enjoy working with musicians just as much as expressing myself musically. I am able to accompany you from beginning to end of your recording project, both as a recording engineer as well as just a mixing engineer.

As a recording engineer, I have worked on everything from a set of mic pre-amps to large format consoles like the SSL 9000 K. I am familiar with digital consoles as well as classic analog equipment. I strongly prefer to work in Avid Pro Tools, this way I can guarantee an extremely smooth session, in order to keep you and your musicians in the creative flow. I am well versed in all current digital audio workstations, however. One of my strengths is mobile recording with a 24-channel mobile rig and microphones, which allows me to record in pretty much any space you like. With a bit of planning even in the desert during the winter solstice.

As a mixing engineer, I prefer to work in Pro Tools HD, have a wealth of plug-ins (Waves, McDSP, NI, Slate Digital, Melodyne, iZotope RX3 Adv, to name a few) to get your recordings shine in the best way possible. I can work flexibly on my own, based on the producer’s input, on-site together, or remotely with live webstreaming and Skype. You choose your level of involvement. While I strongly encourage everyone to get their final mixes mastered properly with a professional mastering engineer, I will be able to master your tracks to current level and loudness requirements.

Below you find a few productions I have worked on as a mixer, recordist, and/or producer.
